How can I be so sure? Well because I’ve been wearing these jumpers for almost two decades, and after hundreds, and in one case at least a thousand wears, they have never pilled nor lost their shape.
There is no great secret to making fantastic quality knitwear. We start with the very best quality lambswool, always sourced from the same farms, because lots of things, from climate to diet, affect the quality of the wool. Wool from healthy, happy sheep makes better jumpers.
Next, you need to spin a good yarn (like this one). The yarn for all of our jumpers comes from one mill that has been spinning yarn in Denby Dale in Yorkshire for over 200 years.
We then knit all of our men’s and women’s jumpers in Hawick in Scotland, in two mills with which I’ve worked for a very long time. They make the best jumpers in the world, for some of the most expensive and best known luxury brands on the planet. And us.
Year after year, the same great quality, same great styles. We like to stick to the knitting.
Our jumpers are warm, comfortable, super durable and are available in a great range of colours, all the classics, and some punchy new fun ones too. In addition to the jumpers we have a fantastic range of knitted accessories: beanies, scarves and gloves, in a great range of colours and patterns, all made in Scotland too.
