This Peacoat features a slightly different fit compared to the version in our main collection of coats and jackets. We’ve updated the fit in our current collection, so this one reflects the previous design at a reduced price.
The wool for our peacoat is sourced from the British heritage mill, A W Hainsworth & Sons who have produced quality British fabrics since 1783. Outer fabric: 100% Wool, Body lining: 65% Polyester 35% Cotton, Sleeve Lining: 96% Viscose 4% Acetate

Originally created for the Dutch Navy, the name Peacoat originated from the word 'Pije' which described coats made from coarse wool. Since the 1800's the style has been adopted by many of the world's greatest Naval institutions, due to its hard-wearing nature.
