Famous for over four centuries for hosiery and fine knitting the Midlands is still the heart of our sock and jersey production. Our super popular traditional socks, our polo shirts, as well as the fabric for everything from t shirts, underpants, sweatshirts and rugby shirts are all manufactured in a dozen mills in and around Leicester, Hathern, Sutton in Ashfield, and Long Eaton.
