90% Alpaca 10% Nylon. Alpaca fibre is extremely sustainable. The animals live on the mountains of Peru eating the natural vegetation which grows there. The animals are sheared like sheep and returned to the mountains. Alpaca animals have been farmed in this way for 3000 years. The nylon is required to help in the spinning process which results in a satisfactory yarn that we can use on our machinery.

The socks will be durable and long lasting providing care is taken with washing. Washing at 30 or hand washing is ideal for this product.
