EsmeMiniMe
"So, I've been lusting after this Esme shirt all year. Too expensive? Should I spend £112.00 on a shirt? Am I worth it? Anyhow, I visited John Lewis last week and had a look about at some of the labels for comparison. Being a vegan and fed up with the choice of clothes being made, badly in China, Bangladesh, etc for the same money if not more in JL, I finally gave myself permission. My shirt arrived this morning and it was well worth the lusting. The handle of this piece is just lovely, crisp and yet soft at the same time; the colour, a really sort of French navy I think and it is very, very comfy, generous in size and wearable all year round. This is my first "new" piece of clothing in years as I've been buying clothes from charity shops because of my ethical views on fast fashion. A lovely "over sized" shirt, but not baggy, plenty long enough to wear however you choose to and the stripes are all carefully lined up. I feel like a proper grown up now and I know that I will never get bored with this shirt. I wish I hadn't lusted for so long, but it was worth every single penny and the waiting. I'm now lusting after the denim shorts to go with it. BTW, did I mention, I LOVE it."
