Norman Walsh made the running shoes for the British Olympic team in the 1970’s, he made shoes for no end of champion fell runners, and he made the football boots worn by Nat Lofthouse scorer of the winning goal for Bolton Wanderers in the 1958 FA Cup Final.

Today Walsh shoes are loved by athletes and trainer aficionados alike. The Community Clothing X Walsh trainers come in three designs, the Beacon, the Parlick and the Catlow, all handmade in Bolton, England.

About the Trainers

Hand lasting by the amazing skilled team at Norman Walsh in Bolton. 

Co-designed by Community Clothing and the Walsh design team to re-create a 1970s and 80s running shoes from their extensive archive. This culminated in the creation of three unisex running shoes named ‘Beacon’, 'Parlick’ and ‘Catlow’ after popular Fells, near Community Clothing’s HQ in Blackburn.

Super tough breathable cordura upper with natural leather and suede for ultimate durability and comfort. Natural rubber sole.  Gold foiled CC logo.
