Hinchcliffe of Denby Dale in West Yorkshire have been spinning yarn since 1776 and they know everything there is to know about sourcing the best lambswool yarns. They source their wools from the very same Australian and New Zealand merino farmers year after year ensuring a consistent exceptional quality. And they spin with exceptional care producing the world's best knitting yarn.
From Derbyshire our yarn travels a few hundred miles up the road to the famous Scottish knitwear town of Hawick where we work with two exceptional knitting mills, both with a dedicated and incredibly skilled workforce, both with over a century of history, both making for some of the world's best known designer and luxury labels. Only by knitting in the right way, at the right speed and at the right tension, and then washing and finishing with just the right formula in the softest Scottish water, do you create the perfect garment.
It is this consistent combination of fibre, yarn, knitting and finishing that produces a jumper which is both incredible soft and comfortable to wear but which will last a lifetime and will never pill.

Our range includes crew neck and v neck jumpers and cardigans in a fine 2ply lambswool in a wide range of colours. We offer a range of heavier gauge roll necks in plain colours and fairisle patterns, and heavier cable knit and ribbed crew neck sweaters.
We also offer great knitted accessories, including pure lambswool knitted gloves and knitted beanie hats in an array of great colours, and knitted and woven scarves in plain colours, stripes and tartan checks. Our knits are available in a wide range of colours including classic navy, black, bottle green, burgundy, alongside brighter colours including blue, pink, lilac, red and mustard.
