Simple. Because if you bought a pair of socks this good from another premium brand that’s what they’d cost. These socks are knitted from the best premium yarns in a factory in Leicestershire that’s been knitting exceptional socks for over 125 years. But because our mark-ups are less than a third of those other brands our prices are too.
Great socks, at a great price, supporting great British jobs. That’s our promise.
At Community Clothing we pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of our clothing. We know that the clothes we make are every bit as good as much more expensive designer versions. And we know that because many of them are made in the very same factories in which we make our products, using the very same materials. In fact the only real difference is that our unique business model means that we sell them for a significantly lower price.
Take our incredible quality everyday socks for example. They’re made from premium quality cotton yarns in a factory in Leicestershire that’s been making the finest quality socks since 1895.
This kind of quality usually comes with a hefty price tag, but our unique pricing model means that we mark-up our prices less than a third of most other premium brands. This quality of sock from a well known premium British brand will set you back £15 per pair. At Community Clothing they’re just £5 per pair.
What’s more we apply that same incredibly low mark-up on every product we make, from the humble t shirt to the lofty pea coat. You can find out more about our radically different approach to clothing by clicking here.
Great clothes, at great prices, supporting great jobs in the UK’s textile making communities. That’s our promise.
At Community Clothing we are proud to do things differently. Our innovative business model cuts out most of the usual cost of designing and selling clothes meaning we can sell exceptional quality clothes, made in exceptional UK factories, at surprisingly affordable prices. We’re proud to support amazing local craftspeople, and to help support a thriving local textile economy. We're working hard to localise every stage of the production of every one of our products. And we're very proud of the product we make. We use the finest sustainable natural cotton, wool and linen fabrics and we never compromise on the way we make our clothes. We are confident you wont find clothing this good at even twice the price.
We believe that everybody should be able to buy great quality, great looking clothes that are sustainably and ethically made. So we strive to make every garment we sell as affordable as it can be.
Great clothes, at great prices, supporting local communities. That’s our promise.
