As part of our ongoing commitment to working with young, local creatives, we wanted to share some very special shoots and photographs that Patrick and the team at CC have loved.

Recently, Alice Turner, who’s studying Fashion Photography at Leeds Arts University, pitched a shoot idea within her local Leeds Community. We love the work she’s done here at her local sandwich shop, which shares our commitment to quality and uses locally sourced ingredients.

“Community Clothing offered students at my university the opportunity to pitch a shoot idea looking into a local community. I really enjoyed this opportunity as it allowed me to practise my pitching skills and refine my creative direction to align with their brand values. My experience of researching for this pitch allowed me to dive deeper into the many communities around me and select one that I felt aligned with Community Clothing’s values of quality and local community. I decided to pitch a local sandwich shop near the University's campus, which takes pride in quality with their locally sourced ingredients. I enjoyed planning the shoot and refining the idea while working with Community Clothing. For the shoot I selected garments from the brand that I felt worked well with the concept, which also allowed me the experience of styling them. This experience allowed me to gain confidence in my creative direction and execution through working with Community Clothing throughout this shoot. It also allowed me to communicate with a brand to execute a shoot that presents their brand’s image and intentions. I felt the shoot was also really positive for the community I documented, as the participants also enjoyed their experience. It's been lovely to build a relationship with those at Community Clothing and hopefully work with them some more in the future.”

Community is an essential thread in our DNA here at Community Clothing, and we have an ongoing commitment to working with emerging creative talent through the Universities and colleges we partner with.

Recently, we've had the pleasure of working with Phoebe Jacob, who is in her final year of studying Fashion Photography at Leeds Arts University.

Community Clothing is proud to be your one-stop-shop for head-to-toe UK-made dressing. Trainers from Bolton, socks from Sussex or Leicestershire, pants from South Wales, trousers or jeans from Blackburn, t-shirts and sweatshirts from north London, jumpers, from the south of Scottish and coats from Lancashire and Yorkshire. We’ve got you covered, literally.

2024 was a cracker for Community Clothing and our social mission. Here's a letter from Patrick Grant, sharing more about our latest impact update.
